Do the devotees want anything other than devotional service?

Religiosity, economic development, sense gratification, and liberation are fit to be kicked out. Materialists aspire for such things, but devotees never want them. Devotees aspire for pure devotional service.

We should purify the heart. Otherwise, we will be cheated despite making a show of rendering service. I had many friends and well-wishers, but they are busy in other pursuits. Even though they externally show symptoms of worshiping Hari, they are engaged internally in materialistic activities.
